For your convenience, you can link a bank account to your TALK Funding Account and perform transfers from inside the TALK web portal without having to sign into your bank every time. You can only transfer $1000.00 a day and the cut-off time is 7:00 P.M. CT. Any transfer request after 7:00 P.M. counts toward the $1000.00 daily limit for the next day.
To connect your bank account, complete the three-step wizard inside the card management section in the TALK web portal. To open the wizard, click the Add Funds Button inside the card management section and then click the Link Account Button.
To connect the bank follow these steps:
- Click the Start Authentication Button and login to your bank using your bank's username and password. If you don't have an online account setup for your bank, you will first need to create one by going to your bank's online system web portal. Some banks require you to answer challenge questions or to enter a code sent to your mobile phone.
- Select the account that you want to link from the list.
- Enter a nickname for the account. In some cases you will also be required to select the type of account and enter the account and routing numbers for the account selected.
Tip: Your bank routing number it's the first set of 9 numbers printed on the bottom of your checks, on the left side. Your account number (usually 10-12 digits) is the second set of numbers printed on the bottom of your checks, just to the right of the bank routing number.
Once you link your bank successfully, you will see the Transfer option with an amount field. Simply enter the amount that you wish to transfer to your TALK Funding Account and click submit. Your transfer will be processed in 2 to 3 business days.
